SKILL:

DB Clean & Jerk

Review DB Clean & Jerk

Down and finish- drive from hips

Footwork- balanced through foot, hybrid jumping and receiving position

Overhead- active shoulder/lat, efficient loading over body

Jerk drive- Drive from hip, drop under weight


NOTES:

  • Use a light weight and focus on technique
  • Practice the movement pattern for an efficient drive when fatigued

8 toes-to-bar (T2B, hanging knee raises)

10 DB hang C&J (5/arm) (50/35, 35/20)

NOTES:

  • Look up your score from 18.1 and consider your strategy from then before retesting
  • The row should be at a pace that can be maintained for all 20 min and is your chance at recovering breathing
  • Break T2B in sets that can be repeated, grip becomes fatigued in last 5 min!
