We understand that for many, getting to an ideal weight or clothing size is a real and difficult struggle. Let us help. We don’t believe in gimmicks to achieve results. At Southpoint CrossFit, with every workout your metabolism will kick into high gear and will stay elevated long after you leave the gym. We encourage a balanced, healthy approach to eating, with real foods – and plenty of it. Making gradual change in a healthy way ensures results and make them sustainable.
Our athletes work to build calorie burning muscle, which aids in burning unwanted bodyfat. No bulky, bodybuilding physiques here. In our program, you will build lean, toned, fat burning muscle and will lock in your results for the long term.
Life is too short to spend it on the couch watching TV. We specialize in helping people stay on top of their health and fitness so they can maintain an active lifestyle. Whether you enjoy playing sports, love being outdoors, or just want to be able to keep up with your kids, we can help.
We have trained high school, collegiate, and, even, professional athletes. Our GPP (General Physical Preparedness) training is the perfect off season program to produce in season results. We help athletes create a fitness foundation that they can build upon while developing the fine motor skills necessary for their respective sport.
Our programs can be modified to help prepare for any sport, but our core mission remains the same – developing the athlete to their true genetic potential so they can further their sports goals. This is achieved through proper diet, good mobility, and the right strength and conditioning program.
The human body was made to be lean and muscular. A couple of hours a week of training with us, supported by smart nutrition, will rapidly move your body closer to its genetic potential and the strongest, best looking you. Since 2014, we have added countless pounds of lean muscle to our members. It’s common for new members to report their clothes fitting better while their scale weight goes up slightly during just the first few weeks of training.
Our workouts regularly include challenging multi joint functional movements. Moving relatively heavy loads repetitively increases the production of the hormones that keep us young, builds strong bones, and strengthens connective tissues. This makes strength training vital for men and women in their 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and beyond. We train to get stronger in a highly organized and thoughtful way, using systems and protocols to ensure the best results in the safest conditions for all of our athletes.
Our focus on General Physical Preparedness (GPP) and strength development helps our participants to prevent common injuries suffered in everyday life, as well as in recreational sports. We aim to help improve our athletes’ health with every workout in a fun and safe environment. Many of our athletes enjoy running, adventure racing, triathlons, tennis, golf, skiing and snow-boarding, and many more activities. With training, they report new found stamina, speed, and power in their chosen sports and daily activities.
We know that as your strength increases and your workout times get faster, your health is improving as well. You will sleep better, lower your blood pressure and cholesterol, and have more energy.
